God, I need Your help.

Don't ruin your life, and even more so your death!

When you don't read the Bible, you're not spiritually fed. Then you forget how great and magnificient God really is and how small and insignificant you are, but how He still loves you anyway. Then you lose your humility. Which means, you stop depending on God, and start to think you can handle all your problems without His help. Suree. So you go about your day, without acknowledging Him, thus failing to pray, thanking Him and speaking to Him, because you forget his greatness, because you didn't read His word. And then this goes on and on and on.
Until you hit a rock and your vessel floods. You start crying out for God, saying you'll repent. So God comes and saves you. You are overwhelmed by His power and awesomeness! You sing His praise and love Him. But like in every relationship, this feeling fades and goes away. Especially so, with God. Then you busy yourself with school and homework and tutorials and e-lectures and everything else that draws you from God. And you fail to read His word again. And then this goes on till you stumble and scrap your knee and then he comes again.

Who do we think God is?
He is our Father, our friend, our stronghold, our refuge, our king and He came to live here, suffering the way we did, yet without sin, and then He died sinless, bearing all our sins.

God deserves more. I am trying!

For you, O Lord, have delivered my soul from death, my eyes from tears and my feet from stumbling, that I may walk before the Lord in the land of the living. Psalm 116: 8,9

If there were another way.
